Palazzolo’s history

Palazzolo is an ancient farmhouse that tells a story lost in the depths of time. Lovingly restored in 2002-2003, preserving its original structure as much as possible, it is now a unique farmhouse that comfortably accommodates ten people in its five rooms (three doubles and two twins) across its 300 square meters, spread over three floors.

The farmhouse features the typical structure of old country houses, composed of multiple parts added over time as the family grew; the beginning of the construction likely dates back to the second half of the 1800s. Originally, it was organized with a ground floor for stables and warehouses and an upper part, accessed by an external staircase, designated for living.

In Palazzolo, past and present coexist harmoniously. The structure is modern and equipped with all comforts, while the furnishings transport visitors to an ancient atmosphere. Carefully and thoughtfully assembled, the decor recalls the history of the family, the estate, and the region. Throughout Palazzolo, one can find reproductions of old photographs, postcards, and posters from the late 1800s and the first two decades of the 1900s, along with old furniture belonging to our family, emphasizing the strong connection of the farmhouse with our history and our History..

Palazzolo Today

Today, Casale Palazzolo is the perfect farmhouse for groups of families or friends: ten beds, five rooms, a pool, a spacious garden—there’s room for everyone!

Outside, guests can spend leisure and relaxation days in the expansive courtyard and garden, complete with a gazebo and umbrellas to provide shade during the summer months. And if it’s still too hot, just take a dip in the pool and then recline on the sun loungers to soak up the sun or relax in the shade.

Perfect for those who love tranquility and nature, the farmhouse is surrounded by the typical greenery of the Umbrian countryside and the vineyards of the estate, offering a splendid panoramic view of Città della Pieve, Monte Cetona, and Val di Chiana.
